Student-Centered Design
Our team is proposing that NKM 111 be redesigned to reflect an interactive and innovative learning environment. This redesign will replace the current fixed furniture with mobile furniture, including tables and chairs that allow for 10+ room configurations that expand past the lecture model. The mobile furniture will include 12 mobile whiteboard-top tables and 25 mobile chairs (24 students + 1 teacher). Redesigning this one classroom can positively impact 250+ students each semester.
