Setting up your course menu might not seem like a big deal but just as you’ve probably wondered what some of that stuff over there is, it can be confusing and distracting to your students too.

Setting Course Navigation

You can set which items are visible to students and the order in which they appear in the Navigation tab in the Settings area.

While you’re welcome to use any of the functions in Canvas, there are a few that are either not very useful or OTC has other tools that are preferred over the Canvas tools. Here are a few you can take out of the course menu.
