FlipGrid provides students with an opportunity to orally express their understanding. This can sometimes provide a more accurate representation of the student’s mastery. It also provides students with verbal communication practice.

FlipGrid can also be used as a proctored event in online courses. Students can simply hold up their ID, with the sensitive information covered, in their FlipGrid Selfie.
