Prerequisites & Requirements
The prerequisite & requirement features in modules help you create a path for students through the materials. A prerequisite can be set on a module preventing students from accessing items within the module until the prerequisites have been met. Prerequisites work in tandem with requirements. In fact, prerequisites are defined by the requirements of the prerequisite module.
1. Set the requirements within the settings of the module you’d like students to complete before they’re able to move to the next module.
2. Set a prerequisite of the module with the desired requirements in the settings of the subsequent module.

Useful Scenarios
In some cases, using prerequisites and requirements may mean dividing instructional unit content into multiple modules. In some cases, you may want an set an introductory module as the prerequisite for the first few or all subsequent modules.
