Example Agenda for Engaging Students through Zoom
Below is an example agenda for a 60-minute synchronous course session – share your agenda with students ahead of time, so they know what to expect.
When planning for your synchronous course session, consider the following components:
- Concept Chunking – What concepts will be covered in today’s lesson and have I scaffolded the material effectively?
- Active Learning Strategies – How will the students engage with one another and the concepts being covered?
- Leveraging Canvas – Do I have instructional content/materials in Canvas for the students to view before, during, and after class?
